I'll read this at the Dr's office over any other publication they have. Their covers get rather tiresome though... they're usually predictable. And for one issue I would've gotten with Johnny Depp on the cover, they had to RUIN it with the stupid Bachelor crap on the side!! And of course any sign of an overrated pop star is instant thumbs down for me too. Sometimes people magazine have interesting stories on normal people, some good recommendations for movies, & occasional decent dish on stars, but it's nothing I would subscribe to.

4 out of 5: Scoops without Sensationalism

I have been buying people magazine for a number of years, and it just keeps getting better all the time. You get up to date information on celebrity gossip, as well as human interest stories, and excellent photographs, but everything is done tastefully, without tabloid sensationalism. Nice features include reviews of current films, books and music, with Editor's picks, and the special issues are always collectibles. More news is available to subscribers and newsstand buyers at people.com. How can it be improved? In my opinion, it needs some humour sections, and top ten lists of music, books and films. Overall, people magazine is a great magazine that friends are lining up to borrow. Get your own copies guys!

5 out of 5: Love for Johnny Depp!

My name is Gigi, and I love collecting people's magazines. I am a huge fan of Johnny Depp and I’m so glad that my favourite magazine made him the sexiest man alive. I agree 100% that he is the sexiest! I like the way everything was written about Johnny, and everything so true, he's hot! Everything People magazine write's about is true, I mean I have been reading it for years, and it's always fun to read. This magazine is a 5 star.

I have ordered my People magazine subscription on Amazon twice now. Last year, when renewing my subscription, Amazon was running a 3-month free special with subscribing/renewing for an entire year. I chose that option, but the subscription service company will not honor the 3 months free. I've called People's customer service, as well as the subscription company, to no avail. I feel cheated, and I will not be renewing my subscription because of the poor service. I will miss my People magazine, but maybe I'll learn to like USWeekly...

1 out of 5: Ridiculous Price

I realize that this magazine comes once a week, but even the price of a people magazine subscription is insane. I think I will stick to picking it up in the grocery store when something on the cover interests me.
